What I Was Doing...

Ok, I was tagged! This time by Cherie (I'll get to yours too Leigh!) Here goes...

What I was doing 20 years ago today (May 19, 1988)

I was finishing up sixth grade at Parkman Jr High, probably worrying about the dilemmas of the day - boys, clothes, and how I was going to spend my summer vacation. AHHHHH...those were the days!

What I was doing 15 years ago today (May 19, 1993)

Taft High School...holla to all my HS girls!! We were ending our JUNIOR year, anticipating "ruling the school" as Seniors and driving our cars all over town. Mine was a burgundy Escort! New Kids on the Block was in my cassette player and I was probably trying to pass Chemistry! I'm glad those days are over...

What I was doing 10 years ago today (May 19, 1998)

This one really makes me feel like time has flown! This day ten years ago I was starting the summer before my last year at CSUN, working at CPK in Tarzana and looking forward to my first trip to Seattle in the fall for Jen's wedding!! This would be where Brian and I met, although he says it was before that!

What I was doing 5 years ago today (May 19, 2003)

Fast forward five years, I was working for The WB Network, and making more frequent trips to Seattle (are you noticing a pattern here?), since my husband peeks at this blog occasionally let's just say that year is a blur and the thing I remember most about 03 is that I FINALLY moved out of my parents house and up to Valencia with my good friend Monica. This was the start of a really great time of my life!

What I was doing a year ago today (May 19, 2007)

A year ago today I was five months pregnant and had just found out that I was having a baby girl, who I quickly named Olivia! Life moved so fast that year - a move, marriage, a house, a baby...wow, talk about a whirlwind! I wouldn't do it any other way though. I moved to a small town from the big city and married the man of my dreams! And although I'm still adjusting to all of my life changes, I think it has been a time of growth for me. It's forced me to grow up, think outside of myself and focus on my relationship with my husband and this little life God has entrusted us with. The responsiblity of that just blows me away!

Ok, now it's your turn...I want all my blogger friends to try this! It's fun to sit and think back!!
