Near-record temperatures this weekend in Washington

SEATTLE (AP) -- The National Weather Service says this will be the hottest weekend of the year so far in Washington with temperatures near record highs.
Forecasters expect highs in the lower 90s Saturday and Sunday in Western Washington and over 100 in parts of Eastern Washington including Yakima and the Tri-Cities.
The National Weather Service sees a classic pattern for hot weather in the Northwest: a strong ridge of high pressure and weak offshore flow.
Forecasters say high temperatures could approach the records at Sea-Tac Airport. For Saturday June 28 that's 91 degrees set in 1995 and for Sunday June 30 it's 93 set in 1987

Bring it on Washington...show this Californian just whatcha got!!

That sign is hillarious! We ought to tell my mom and your MIL that they can go to Yakima next year instead.
